Tucking in at the Guildhall Market Café in Bath by Kevin Meredith .
Taken at the Guildhall Market Café in Bath. The Market cafe has to be one of the most photogenic cafes I have ever been in as there is natural light streaming though the sky lights. Also because its part of the indoor market it’s quite spacious and you can shot it and it’s occupants form a few angles.
I was in Bath teaching a photography workshop to graphics students at Bath Spa University. One of the tasks on the the workshop is to shot a list of 36 things some literal and some that are more open to interpretation. I also take part so students can see what I can do with limited time, this was for one of “Portrait of a Stranger”.
I do something similar when I run my private workshops in Brighton. When I do the list exercise on my private workshop there is less people and I lend everyone the same film camera so it’s a level playing field. As we have more time the list has 66 items on it. If you are interested my next private course is on the weekend of the 9th - 10th August in Brighton.
