fragmentedportraits: Tyler - Marfa Texas - June 2011 Tyler Sharp is a fellow Phoot Camper and real cowboy. he is the real deal born and raised in nocona texas, he rides horses, has a revolver and can round up cattle. Tyler is part of a project that is trying to preserve a piece of texas history: The Chisholm Trail, it was a trail used in the late 19th century to drive cattle overland from Texas to Kansas. There plan with the backing of the Texas Historical Commission is to ride the 400 mile trail on horse back with a bunch of photographers and film makers. They will document the trail with the aim of raising awareness of the trail so there will be interest in preserving it for future generations. The project needs backing and they are trying to raise finds with a Kickstarter project, head on over to there kickstarter page to donate, find out more and see a video of tyler in action. Sleepy raver by lomokev Taken from my flickr stream 4 years ago. Such a different life style back then! Cargo on sunday afternoon is a funny place, people are lounging about having a few drinks to sound a pumping techno / house sound track. Some people have clearly not been home all weekend. In fact me and Rockcake had a little snooze at one point. Makes a change I have seen people told that if the fell asleep in Fabric they would have to leave. Sometimes all you need is a little party / power nap to be fighting fit again View high resolution
